Collecting United States quarters is one of the more popular realms of the coin hobby. Almost every collector has at least a few quarters in their stash. Quarters are popular because for more varieties the cost is usually quite low to get started and there is also a huge variety of US Quarters to choose from.
That variety includes the draped bust, capped bust, seated liberty, barber, standing liberty, and Washington quarters in silver and then after 1964 washing ton quarters in the copper nickel variety.
